FICT App Launch: The AI Movie Maker You Direct

FICT is an AI movie maker for iOS and Android, launched in September 2026 by SecondEarth AI, Inc. You write a "What if..." premise, FICT animates the first scene, and at the end of every scene you pick one of three twists or write your own. Each choice becomes the next scene, and there is no limit on how long your movie runs.
SEOUL, September 2026 — SecondEarth AI, Inc. today announced the launch of FICT, a mobile app that turns a single "What if..." idea into an animated movie that the user directs one decision at a time. FICT is available now on the App Store and Google Play in English and Korean.
Most AI video tools produce one short clip per prompt and leave the rest (continuity, pacing, the story itself) to the user and an editing timeline. FICT takes a different approach. It treats a movie as a sequence of choices. Every scene ends with a fork, and the path the user picks is what gets made next.
What FICT is
FICT sits between two things that rarely meet: AI video generation and choose-your-own-adventure storytelling. Users start with a premise instead of a script. That premise can name the main character, the world, the mood and the art style, such as anime, watercolor or 3D. Users who would rather not start from a blank page can open a story from the in-app library instead.
FICT then generates an animated scene with narration and dialogue text on screen. When the scene ends, three options appear for what happens next. Users can tap one or type their own direction. That choice becomes the next scene, and the story grows from there.

How it works
- Write a premise or pick a story. Start with "What if..." or open a story from the library.
- Choose a scene length. Each scene is 5 seconds (10 credits) or 10 seconds (20 credits).
- Direct the next beat. Pick one of three options at the end of each scene, or type your own.
- Keep going as long as you like. There is no limit on movie length. Choices are final, so every decision counts.
- Watch it back. A finished movie replays from the first scene to the last as one continuous film.
FICT supports fantasy, romantic comedy, action, slice-of-life and mystery. Characters must be original: real people and existing copyrighted characters are not allowed. The app also ships with a free sample film, "The Last Train," so new users can see what a finished FICT movie looks like before they make their own.
Why FICT
"Most AI video tools ask you to write a better prompt. I wanted to build something that asks a better question: what happens next? FICT is for people who want to direct a story, not just generate a clip. You make the calls, and the movie follows."
— Sunwoo Kim, founder of SecondEarth AI
The design choices follow from that idea. Scenes are short so users stay in the director's chair and make frequent decisions. Choices cannot be undone, which gives each fork real weight. Finished movies play back end to end, so the result feels like a film rather than a folder of clips.
Privacy by default
FICT has no login and no public feed. Stories are private to the user, and they can be deleted at any time from Settings.
